We exceed the standards and certifications for medical gases production
Holston Gases operates fully equipped production facilities in Knoxville, TN, Louisville, KY, and Decatur, AL while filling select gases in all of our distribution centers. Our filling facilities are Board of Pharmacy licensed and approved for Medical Gas Production by the FDA. Medical gases sold for human consumption must meet or exceed the purity standards listed in the USP (United States Pharmacopeia). These standards are the legal requirements enforced by the US Government. Under these standards, medical gases are categorized as prescription drugs.
